Private Sessions

I currently offer in person private sessions at the beautiful Main Street Yoga studio located at 200 Fairmont Ave. Fairmont, WV 26554.

As a Chinese Medicine Yoga Teacher, I combine several techniques and build a personalized class just for you. I integrate Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) principles like: Meridian Theory, Acupressure, 5 Element Theory, and Balancing Yin & Yang.

I understand that your health and wellness is an investment. By opting for a private session, I am able to address your specific needs. Our sessions are adapted to meet your specific goals that are at your own pace. When booking your appointment, there are questions I ask you complete to help me personalize your session just for you.

  • I am happy to work with everyBODY, regardless of age. You do not need to have any previous experience. Your private session is tailored to your needs whether that be recovering from an illness or injury, limited range of motion, pregnancy, or just getting started.

  • *During a private session, this time is reserved just for you and your practice.

    *The location address is 200 Fairmont Ave. Fairmont, WV 26554. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment time. This allows time for the student to settle into their space. Please note, entrance to the studio is located in the back of the building.

    *All 30 minute Acupressure sessions take place in “The Vault”. The Vault is a smaller private room that is a quiet sanctuary-perfect for relaxation!

    *The TCM Inspired private session will take place in either the main yoga room or the moon room.

    *Please know that I encourage open communication with each private session and any discussions are always kept confidential.

    *Please note: this is not a reiki session.

  • Prices vary by sessions. Please visit the “Book Appointment” page to see pricing. Currently we only accept Paypal and cash payments. If you would like to pay cash, please reach out to me to book your appointment.

    • I recommend wearing comfortable, breathable clothing.

    • If your session is TCM Inspired 1hr 15min, feel free to bring your own mat or borrow one from the studio. If you book any of the 30 minute sessions, no mat is required as you will be laying on a comfortable table.

    • Feel free to bring your own drink however the studio offers complementary water and herbal tea.

    • The studio offers props so no need to bring your own (unless you want to!).

    • Individuality: Our bodies and our needs are very individual and unique. Whether you’re brand new to yoga or an experienced yogi, have an injury, or are pregnant, a private yoga class can meet your individual needs.

    • Attention: You have the full attention of the yoga teacher. This can be appealing for folks brand new to yoga and looking to understand the poses and how it works best in their bodies.

    • Communication: In a private yoga session you have more opportunity to openly discuss your needs, ask questions, figure out the next steps, and clarify any confusion you may have about cues or movements, and more.

    • Accountability: If you’re the type of person that needs the accountability (no judgements!), that’s totally fine! When you put a private session on your calendar you’re more likely to show up.
